To toast to the 83rd anniversary of Repeal Day on December 5, The Independent in Somerville’s Union Square will be serving up a flight of mini cocktails so guests can let their palates time travel to the Prohibition era of the Roaring Twenties and early 1930s. The specialty flight ($15) will feature a trio of mini stirred whiskey classics whose beauty shines in simplicity: the Manhattan, Boulevardier and Vieux Carré. And for those who already have their favorite in mind, The Indo will offer the three cocktails in their full-sized glassware ($9-$12).
