Osteria Nino in Burlington is churning out authentic Roman-style pizzas for only $2 at their bar and in the lounge. The quartet of “Happy Hour Pizzas” are available Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm-7:00pm and are a perfect complement to Osteria Nino’s all-Italian wine program and seasonally-influenced craft cocktail list. During “Happy Hour,” executive chef Walace Benica fires up Osteria Nino’s outdoor pizza oven to bring guests wood-fired, individually sized pies that are topped with the finest locally-sourced ingredients:
- Margherita with tomato, basil and mozzarella
- Marinara with tomato and oregano
- Melanzana with eggplant, red onion, mozzarella and pecorino Zucchini with pesto, red onion, pine nuts and ricotta salad
